Would it be considered disrespectful to the Presidency if a former President were to record a vocal album? Let's say former President Clinton were to record a album of covers of famous rock songs, and have his various Family members play on the album (Chelsea on back up vocals, Hillary on drums, Roger on lead guitar) and they did an album covering the music of Led Zepplin, Fleetwood Mac, CCR, Aerosmith, Rod Stewart, Carole King, etc etc... I need help remembering a certain children's storytelling record album... from the 70's or 80's..? my mother and I have always remembered this album that we borrowed from the library when i was a child.. me and my sister loved it but for the life of us we cannot remember the name of the album!! Here is what we can remember.. It was two women (maybe just one) who were telling stories to children.. It could have been a "live" album.. We think the cover of the record maybe was of these two women on stage seated in chairs in the middle of a story.. Here are some snippets of what we can remember from the stories.. please bare with me.. One of the stories was the popular ghost story.. "in a dark dark house, there was a dark, dark room. and in this dark, dark room.. there was a dark dark box.. " etc... and another story had them saying something that sounds like "sod-ee, sod-ee, sod-ee saloradis..." i know this makes NO sense but it's all we can remember! How to sell or get rid of old record albums. I have old Rock & Roll albums from 70's & old phonograph albums. The Rock and Roll albums are fairly scratched and the covers are well shuffled. Recording Your Own Album? I have a very good friend who I think is incredibly talented and should definitely try to record an album by herself and get her voice heard. Her music teacher basically told her to drop out of high school and get her ass into a recording studio. She would love to record something (but is level headed enough that she plans to stay in school), but she doesn't have the first idea where to start.
