Once record albums become warped, is there any way to fix them?

My record albums were stored in a bin in my basement for about 5 years, now they are warped. Are they ruined for good or can this be fixed somehow?

1. I think that once they become warped they are pretty much ruined unless you can figure out how to press them in between two heavy objects and heat them at the same time.
2. I've heard of just placing it between two books and putting it on top of something mildly hot like your dryer. I think if it's too hot though, it'll ruin the grooves, even if you do flatten the record out. Flattening out the records is some what the easy part but as for the grooves being in place very tricky. In saying that it really does depend how badly warped they are. Otherwise you may have to consider a lost or consider molding them into a lovely fruit bowl
